Twinkle Twinkle Baby Blanket pattern by Helen Stewart

Twinkle Twinkle is a charmingly simple baby blanket or shawl. It is constructed of four triangles knit “in the round” from the centre out to form a square blanket with a starry centre.

The original version has an understated lace border which you can knit with this kit however, as you can see from the photo I chose to knit a simple garter stitch border before binding off using a 7mm needle.

Amble is a plump fingering-weight yarn made from a blend of eco-friendly washable wool and alpaca for comfort as well as recycled nylon for strength.

70% Easy-wash Merino wool, 20% Easy-wash alpaca, 10% recycled nylon. 300m (328 yd) per 100g skein.
